JAMB To Use NIN: JAMB Registration for 2020 is around the corner; ahead of the registration, the Joint Admission Matriculation Board is currently working with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) to incorporate the use of National Identification Number (NIN) for 2020 UTME Registration.
In view of this new directive, it’s mandatory that all candidates who want to enrol for the JAMB UTME Registration must Register for NIN first if at all they haven’t registered.
This update was disclosed in Abuja by the registrar, Prof Is-Haq Oloyede emphasizing that working with NIN will help to “put to check any form of examination malpractice that can be encountered during Registration and examination period”.
JAMB To Use NIN
This came in while receiving in his office Mr Dasuki Arabi, who is the Director of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms noting that this new implemention is in line with the the directive from the federal government, instating National Identity Management Commission (NIMC) as the primary collector of data.
In his words, Oloyede said “We want the bureau to coordinate the synergy between JAMB and the NIMC to form a formidable force in the fight against all forms of registration infractions. Registration infraction is the foundation of examination malpractices and other unwholesome acts perpetrated by candidates.”
“In view of the compliance with the Federal Government’s directive that the NIMC should be the primary data collection centre, the board will be using the NIM number of prospective candidates for registration in the next exercise. The board is, at the moment, discussing with the NIMC to work out the grey areas for seamless implementation in the next exercise.”
JAMB To Use NIN
The Director General of the Bureau of Public Service Reforms, encourage JAMB take advantage of the Self-Assessment Tool developed by the bureau to strengthen its capacity and render quality service to the public, he added.
In line with this, there is tendency that this will be applicable to Direct Entry (D.E) Registration but we don’t know for sure as of now.

Ensure to fill the form in CAPITAL letters and try as much as possible that all your biodata are correctly filled.
On the form, tick your preferred IJMB centre, and also indicate if you are interested in our hostel or not.
Pay the sum of #8,750 for the application fee.
Within 24 hours, your admission letter which comprises of centre details, the date for your online screening will be sent to you. As Candidates, you should be prepared for lectures. For all our fees breakdown, please visit IJMB School Fees.
Lectures have started for the ongoing academic session in all our IJMB centres and the syllabus will be sent to the registered candidates who register IJMB programme through us at www.ijmbcentres.com.
Candidates should also note that the total fee they’re paying is N188,750 throughout the whole Programme. New session for lectures normally commence by March while the exam is in February of the following year.
Registration for new session is usually around October.
