JUPEB FAQ: Should I Go for Public or Private JUPEB Centres?

A. That depends on you and your financial status. Private JUPEB centres price might be a little higher than some public centres, but the method of teaching would definitely be different. So, if you have the money, go for private. Our reasons being that

  • You will have less populated students for each class, wish will help the lecturers to interact better, one to one to know the area of deficiency.
  • Your practicals would purely be practicals; what we mean is that there would be enough laboratory equipment that would go round for students to study.
  • You have enough space in your hostels and less unnecessary distractions from other activities that are not JUPEB related.
  • Your hostels most times are within the area where you are receiving lectures, so you have less stress after lectures

JUPEB FAQ: Disadvantage of Private JUPEB Centres are:

  • You might not have any approve JUPEB centres in your state/area. so, you might need to travel from your parent’s abode.
  • The lectures might be too much since no private centres will want their candidates to fail, and the only way they can do this is through intensive lecturing and monitoring
  • You do not have much freedom to roam about like JUPEB public centres.

It doesn’t seem like a disadvantage to us. We see all that as a form of discipline. Check below for more reasons.

Advantages of Registering for JUPEB 2023/2024 in a Private Centre

It’s very important for you to note that we’re affiliated with ACCREDITED PRIVATE CENTRES that run JUPEB programme and not UNIVERSITY CENTRES. The advantages of registering with PRIVATE CENTRES are:

  1. Private centres are not affected by ASUU strike which implies that private centres are very much in session at the moment.
  2. Private centres are less expensive compared to what you’ll pay if you were to enroll in a university offering JUPEB A’Level programme.
  3. Private centres are more dedicated to their students unlike university centres where their dedication is mostly to the undergraduates rather than JUPEB students.
  4. Enough time to receive lectures as private centres start their academic session earlier than university centres for which the final examination will be written at the same time.
  5. Private centres give you the opportunity to pay in installment with minimum of 140,000 (20,000 for acceptance fee and 120,000 as part payment for school fees) unlike most university centres where you’ll be paying much and you’re expected to pay all your fees at once).
